The Feast of Corpus Christi - June 2010

On the Feast of Corpus Christi, parishioners gathered in prayer at the ancient Christian sites of the parish: Cannistown, Athlumney, Donaghmore and Dunmoe. These sites mark the four ancient parishes that together with the town of Navan make up the modern day parish of Navan. Parishioners recalled their ancestors in faith who gathered in these places to celebrate the Eucharist. A Holy Hour in St. Mary's Church followed with meditation on the Word of God, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction.
